Aunt Stacy’s Burro Blessings began with a simple conviction: every burro is an individual soul, and each one deserves to be met as one. That is why she takes in only a few at a time, designs each gentling plan around that specific animal, and refuses to rush a process whose only honest pace is the burro’s own.
Stacy specializes in gentling previously wild BLM burros and offering a soft landing to select domestic donkeys in need of one. Her approach is built on positive reinforcement, gentle encouragement, and the slow construction of trust that makes a forever home possible.
She is also a steady presence after placement — supporting families through the unexpected and celebrating the quiet milestones that mark a burro’s growing confidence in their new life.
