Fifteen years old and learning about domestic life took time. The day this soulful boy took a carrot from the hand, after months of offering, was the beginning of watching him blossom into the best burro who was willing to do anything asked of him.

Why didn't she get any bids at the BLM Adoption Event on 10/14/23? Who knows but this stunning jenny came to Aunt Stacy's Burro Blessings and never looked back! Named Eclipse due to the eclipse happening the day of the adopton event, I would find out later on that she would need a tooth extracted never knowing the large animal vet who cared for her would fall in love with her and take her home!

This beautiful boy waited in BLM Holding for two years before he would be picked and once he was adopted, he sailed through his gentling skills and asked what's next. He was named by a little boy who is now riding him! It just doesn't get any sweeter than this!

Ellie Mae Burro slowly but surely decided to trust humans and when she did, she touched, stole, and even broke a few hearts. She won the heart of a wonderful family where she is a therapy donkey for seniors and is learning about being a pack burro racer. We all need a place where we belong and she found hers.
